Lüning Paletten looks back on over 60 years of history. The company was founded by Henny M. Lüning in Bremen – a pioneer who played a key role in the development and spread of pallets in Germany.
In 1997, Uwe Seegers took over the company. As a trained locksmith and master woodworker specializing in sawmills, he brings with him in-depth expertise and many years of experience from Bremen, Bremerhaven, and Verden. Growing up in Dorum, he was familiar with the pallet business from an early age – a connection that is reflected today in the permanent location in 27639 Dorum, Wurster Nordseeküste.
A milestone in the company's development was the purchase of the former premises of Gebrüder Seegers OHG in 2019. The spacious site offers ideal conditions for the continuous expansion of the packaging division and for future growth. In 2025, a new, modern production hall was completed there to expand production capacities and meet growing market demands.
Frederic Seegers, a trained mechatronics engineer and wholesale and foreign trade merchant, joined the company in 2018. As the person responsible for organization and production, he brings fresh ideas to the table and is leading the family business into the next generation with a spirit of innovation.
Today, Lüning Paletten employs around 15 people and has its own fleet of trucks, which is flexible and reliable for customers in the region.
