Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate philosophy – not as a buzzword, but as a responsibility we live by throughout the entire production chain.
We pay particular attention to the return of used pallets: we collect old and defective pallets directly from our customers as part of our return shipments. In our warehouse, they are carefully sorted, reconditioned and, where possible, reintegrated into the production cycle. Pallets that can no longer be reused are sent for environmentally friendly recycling or disposal.
In addition, we continuously invest in measures to reduce environmental impact. For example, modern filter systems in our production facilities contribute significantly to reducing fine dust emissions. We also generate all of our process and consumption heat using an efficient wood-fired heating system that runs exclusively on waste wood from our own production – a closed energy cycle that avoids the use of fossil fuels.
Another important component of our sustainability strategy is the use of renewable energies: we have installed a high-performance photovoltaic system on our new production hall. It covers a significant portion of our electricity needs and enables us to feed surplus energy into the public grid. This not only allows us to make an active contribution to climate protection, but also makes us less dependent on external energy sources.
